Sometimes when you're editing you'll find you need to change many instances of a single word or phrase. For example, you may decide that instead of Bob, you really want to name your character George. You can change this using the Find and Replace feature in MS Word.
In the Edit menu choose Replace. (Or you can just use the Ctrl + H keyboard shortcut.)
In the "Find what:" field enter the original word or phrase you have.
In the "Replace with:" field enter the text you wish to change to.
This is especially useful if you have misspelled many instances of one word, such as "thier" instead of "their" or "becuase" instead of "because."
