Do People NEED Your Book?

With thousands of books being published each year, what about your book will make people NEED it?

Every year, thousands of book titles are published by publishing houses, and this doesn't include the remaining thousands that are self-published by individuals. With an abundance of new titles coming out each year, and only a few hitting the coveted New York Times Bestseller List, most of these books will fall along the wayside as just another pile of words on paper.

One of the ways you can make sure your book doesn't end up ignored and unappreciated, is to make sure there is a distinct need for your book. What defines a need for your book? It's all in the way that information is presented.

In order to be successful, your book needs to be different in one or more of these areas. By having one of these qualities that other books don't, you create a reason for your target reader to make a purchase; if they don't buy your book, they can't get that special information. You will use these qualities to write your book as well as to sell it.
